Battle text reminders

Terms & Conditions

Optional battle reminders and matchup updates for creators, plus matchup updates and Requested inbox alerts for managers.

SMS Terms

These terms apply only to the Uprise Tournaments Battle Reminders SMS program. Texts require an eligible signup and active program settings; publishing these terms does not enroll you or activate texts.

What the program sends

The Uprise Tournaments Battle Reminders program sends automated informational texts about battles you participate in or, for enrolled direct managers, battles involving your directly assigned creators. Messages may include reminders, changed times or opponents, a time becoming unconfirmed, cancellation notices, and new Requested inbox items for managers. This program does not include advertising or sales promotions.

The program supports SMS-capable United States and Canadian phone numbers. Carrier support and delivery availability can vary.

Creators who opt in also receive new assignments, participant changes, date/time changes or clearing, removal and cancellation updates. Direct managers may separately opt in to these updates for their own assigned creators through Profile → SMS → SMS reminders, using their own number, explicit consent and a verification code. Successful verification completes manager enrollment. This does not enroll their creators.

Updates may be sent for saved matchups while registration remains open. They include a Uprise-hosted public Scoreboard link that can be forwarded. Managers also receive alerts for new items in their Requested inbox; those review links require sign-in. Manager alerts do not include scheduled countdown reminders.

How creator signup works

Providing your own phone number and submitting tournament registration opts you in to automated Uprise Tournaments battle reminders and schedule updates, as disclosed beneath the phone field. No separate checkbox or verification code is required for this creator signup. Entering a number without submitting does not enroll you. You can reply STOP to opt out at any time. A manager may also record your agreement after explaining the program disclosures.

Consent to receive texts is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase or tournament participation. You can decline or stop texts and ask your manager for battle details another way. The manager’s app checkbox records their confirmation that you agreed; it does not replace your agreement.

Managers enroll separately in Profile → SMS → SMS reminders. The optional consent box starts unchecked and appears alongside SMS terms and privacy links. After accepting the disclosure and requesting a code for their own number, managers enter that code and select Verify and enable. Successful verification saves manager enrollment; a paused program stays paused. Providing a number or requesting a code alone does not enroll a manager. See the manager signup screens and exact disclosure.

Frequency, timing and charges

Message frequency varies with your battle schedule, reminder settings and any battle changes. Once sending is active, a welcome text will confirm your signup before battle messages begin. For creators, the default schedule is one reminder 24 hours before a battle and another 1 hour before it. Administrators can change creator reminder timing. Managers receive new Requested inbox alerts and event-driven matchup updates rather than scheduled reminders. Additional texts may report changed details or cancellations. A late-scheduled battle or recently enabled reminder setting may produce one catch-up reminder when the battle is still at least five minutes away.

Creator reminders may arrive overnight. If quiet hours are enabled, reminders are deferred until permitted or skipped if they would arrive after the battle starts. Online signup uses the device timezone already captured by registration for quiet hours. Manager-entered contacts may use an optional timezone, with Eastern Time as the default; reminder timing still follows the battle’s actual start time.

Creator registration records your agreement without a verification code; it does not prove control of the phone number or TikTok account. Public tournament signup cannot replace an existing different creator contact number or override STOP. Creators should contact their controlling manager for changes. Managers change their own number through Profile → SMS and must consent and verify the replacement number.

Manager quiet hours default to 9 PM–9 AM in the confirmed timezone and can be changed or disabled. Edits made close together are combined after one minute. The Battle reminders switch on a matchup controls updates to both audiences. Turning it off cancels unsent updates; turning it back on does not replay old changes. Managers can turn off updates or remove their number in Profile → SMS. START does not turn a disabled preference back on.

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier about charges under your plan.

Stop or rejoin

To stop: reply STOP to a Uprise Tournaments text. You may receive a final confirmation of the opt-out. Further program texts are blocked unless you choose to rejoin; a manager or administrator cannot override STOP.

To rejoin after STOP: reply START from the same number, then check your saved preferences or contact support if texts do not resume. START removes the text opt-out, but it does not turn on a preference disabled by you or your manager. Your consent, current phone number and other reminder settings must still be valid.

You may also ask your manager or email support to disable reminders. Tell us if you no longer control the number or it changes. A new number needs its own consent confirmation before reminders can be enabled.

Help and delivery

Reply HELP for program assistance, or email admin@theuprisetalent.com. If you have opted out or cannot receive the HELP reply, use email. For battle questions and schedule corrections, contact your manager; ordinary text replies are not a monitored support conversation.

Delivery may be delayed, fail or be unavailable. Uprise Tournaments and mobile carriers do not guarantee delivery or timing, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Confirm important battle details with your manager.

Privacy

Our SMS privacy notice explains the information used for this program, access controls, service providers and your choices. SMS consent does not authorize another business to send you marketing messages.
